Aunt Sara Pays a Visit

Isabella was visited by Aunt Sara this weekend - who took the pictures above. We had an overall relaxing weekend. On Saturday we went to a Texas watch party (Bella's first shin-dig) to watch the Longhorns lose to the Aggies before coming home for a home-cooked meal. On Sunday we slept in, watched UConn lose to Louisville and the U.S. lose to Canada before heading out to dinner at a Mexican restaurant. After watching Bella instantly fall asleep in her car-seat, Aunt Sara and Paul are putting together a business plan to develop a virtual car-seat that sits on the floor and mimics the irregular motions of a car (don't steal it). Most visitors that have come have created their own nicknames for Isabella (my dad calls her Peanut) and Aunt Sara will leave Squirrly the Princess tomorrow morning to return to Chicago. She and Squirrly will be reunited later this spring when the Needham family visits Chicago for a conference.
-In the interest of full-disclosure, Mom dislikes the outfit that Isabella is wearing in the picture with Sara. It has a monster on it that says "Full of Cuteness." Dad loves it; Mom thinks it makes the Tiny One look like a boy (hence the bow).

Bella and Aunt Tarah

Tarah, Tiffany, and Bella had an amazing weekend of shopping and dining in Tulsa. Bella was so excited to meet Tarah and can't wait for our next set of girlie adventures!

All Clean

To celebrate Bella's 2-week birthday, we gave her a bath. So far, she is not a fan of bathing. Although, not unlike her mother, she likes getting her hair done (it's the only time she doesn't cry).

Isabella's First Visitors

Isabella is still a little-un but she has had an opportunity to meet many family members already. Tiffany's parents were in the hospital when she was born and the following week Paul's dad and grandparents visited Tulsa to welcome her. She was a very gracious host and allowed everyone to pamper her and photograph her repeatedly.

Isabella Kristine Joins Us

Isabella Kristine Needham was born on February 2nd at 9:02 pm. She weighed 6 lbs, 15 oz and was 20.5 inches long. Tiffany and I will be co-authoring this blog to document our growing family for all who wish to follow along. We know most of you are here to see Bella so we'll be sure to include plenty of pictures in almost all of our posts. We're excited to share this journey with you!
